Millie (NNC-50)

A qualified Montessori and Waldorf educator with 20 years of childcare experience, she brings a thoughtful, nurturing approach to supporting children’s growth and development. She creates a warm and secure environment where children feel valued, respected, and confident to explore the world around them.

Her experience spans all stages of early childhood, including tummy time, sleep training, baby-led weaning, teething support, and toilet training. She plans engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play, songs, stories, cooking, and creative exploration. Educational outings, including library visits, form an important part of her approach, helping children develop curiosity and a love of learning.

Drawing inspiration from Montessori, Waldorf, RIE, and Reggio Emilia philosophies, she focuses on fostering independence, kindness, social confidence, and emotional wellbeing. She places particular emphasis on language development, sensory exploration, and the strengthening of fine and gross motor skills, while supporting children in achieving age-appropriate developmental milestones.

She also has experience working with children with additional needs, including those on the autism spectrum, and adapts her approach to meet each child’s individual requirements.
