LATEST UPDATE (2nd April 2020): If you have symptoms, wearing face masks and quarantining yourself can be really important. Anyone with a new continuous dry cough or high temperature (37.8 degrees or above), however mild, is advised to self-isolate for 7 days, the loss of smell and taste is also being reported as another common symptom of the corona virus.\u00a0 If you live with other people, they should stay at home for 14 days quarantine from the day the first person got symptoms. This also means that if anyone in your household is showing symptoms, you should also stay at home for 14 days. If you live with someone who is 70 or over, has a long-term condition, is pregnant or has a weakened immune system, try to find somewhere else for them to stay for 14 days. If you have to stay at home together, try to keep away from each other as much as possible and both wear a masks when in the same area at home. Current advice is to p<\/b>lease stay at home wherever possible and use social distancing in the event you need to leave your home to help prevent the corona virus outbreak.<\/b><\/p>\n
